Luxury Bath

This project was a fun remodel, because we practically moved everything but the general location of the bathtub!

Previously, I had remodeled my clients’ kitchen, so naturally I was delighted that they asked me to help them with redesigning their master bathroom as well!

The project was in desperate need of a remodel and my clients eagerly agreed. The master bathroom was located on the third level of their home and lacked proper insulation and lighting, so the area was very cold and dark. The original floorplan of the space was left wanting as well. The shower was much too small and the area for the bathtub was overwhelming. The entrance into the walk-in-closet wasn’t very functional either; one had to maneuver through the entire bathroom to get to it. However, the space had potential and it was begging to be updated.

During the initial design process my clients knew that they wanted a free standing tub, a larger shower and for the room to feel much more spacious. Several concepts were discussed and we finally came to the conclusion that not only did the door opening to the walk-in closet need to move, but several plumbing fixtures as well to achieve my clients’ desires.

To achieve the look of luxury for my client we chose rich warm taupe and gray tones and accented them with the beautiful Brizo Virage Collection in the Brilliance Brushed Bronze finish and dark plum accessories.
