About Kasilia
Kasilia Pence, AKBD, was born and raised in Alaska and became interested in interior design in college. Upon realizing there was no college for interior design in Alaska, she started working as a kitchen designer at one of the local big box stores, and fell in love with it. She first came to Creative Kitchen Designs, Inc. looking for a permanent career in kitchen design in June 2017, and was hired in July of 2017. She is an integral part of the company and looks forward to creating beautiful spaces for clients for many years to come.
About Hollie
Hollie M. Ruocco, CMKBD, is the owner of Creative Kitchen Designs, Inc. established in June 1998. Hollie's career in the kitchen and bath industry started in 1979 while living in England, U.K.. Hollie has been involved in the National Kitchen and Bath Association since 1983 starting with the Baltimore/Washington Chapter, and in 2000 she helped to start the Alaska Chapter. Hollie earned her CKD in November 1989 while living in the Washington, D.C. area and moved to Alaska in 1993, when she started a study group for the CKD exam. Since the formation of the Alaska Chapter she has held the Secretary, VP Programs, President and the Chapter Rep positions and recently earned her Certified Master Kitchen and Bathroom Designer certification (CMKBD). Being a designer is a job Hollie loves doing, as every project is different in its own way and there's always something new to learn.
About Rachel
Rachel Broady, CKD, CBD, moved to Alaska shortly after graduating from college with a BA in Fashion Merchandising. On a whim, she answered an ad in the newspaper and thus began her career in Kitchen and Bath Design in 2001. Rachel went on to earn her AKBD, CBD, and CKD certification in 2011. She has been active with the local chapter of the NKBA and currently lends her time as the President of the NKBA Alaska Chapter. Rachel recently took some time off to help raise her three boys, but was happy to jump back in and join Creative Kitchen Designs, Inc in April of 2023.
